Mobile phone users have received a concerning warning regarding the amount of time they spend talking on their devices.

Experts have highlighted that phones emit radiation that can potentially be harmful to our health, the Daily Sun reported.

To address this, Apple has advised customers using its latest iPhones, such as the 14 Pro Max and the iPhone SE, to consider using hands-free options like the built-in speakerphone, headphones, or similar accessories to reduce exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy.

Germany’s Federal Office for Radiation has stated that some mobile devices, particularly Android phones, can emit exceptionally high levels of radio frequency.

Joel Moskowitz, a researcher at the University of California Berkeley’s School of Public Health, emphasized the widespread addiction to smartphones and their indispensable role in our daily lives.

However, the notion that they may pose a health risk is challenging for some individuals to accept.

Moskowitz and his colleagues conducted a comprehensive review of 46 case-control health studies examining the relationship between mobile phones and health.

Their findings were published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health in 2020.
