President Joe Biden has given his approval for a new military aid package to Ukraine, amounting to $300 million. The assistance includes additional munitions for drones and various other weapons.

This decision comes at a time when Russia continues to intensify its attacks on Ukraine’s capital, and unmanned aircraft have been targeting Moscow, the Associated Press reports.

U.S. officials have clarified that there is no indication that American-made drones or munitions were used in the strikes on Moscow, which the Kremlin has attributed to Ukraine, although Kyiv has not claimed responsibility.

The Biden administration has emphasized its stance that U.S.-supplied weapons should not be utilized for attacks within Russian territory.

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby stated on Wednesday that the United States does not dictate where Ukraine should strike or refrain from striking.

The decision on military actions rests with President Zelenskyy and his military commanders. However, Kirby emphasized that the U.S. has privately and publicly communicated to Ukraine its firm opposition to attacks inside Russia.
