In the search for seven missing call centre workers, police have uncovered a disturbing find of 45 bags containing human remains.

This unsettling discovery was made by Mexican officials in Mirador del Bosque, located in the outskirts of the western city of Guadalajara, on Tuesday (June 1).

The Jalisco state prosecutor’s office has stated that it remains uncertain if the recovered remains belong to the missing individuals, emphasizing that the search for them continues, the Daily Star reported.

Furthermore, the office has disclosed that the remains discovered so far include victims of both female and male genders.

Forensic personnel were also at the scene to determine the number of possible victims and to try and identify them, the prosecution added.
