Over the weekend, a clash occurred between the Taliban and Iranian border guards in the Nimroz province of Afghanistan, along its southwestern border with Iran.

Notably, the Taliban fighters utilized American equipment during the confrontation.

The incident, sparked by a dispute over water rights in the region, resulted in the loss of at least three lives, with several others sustaining injuries, Vice News reported.

Videos capturing the skirmish have circulated widely on social media platforms, showcasing Afghan fighters equipped with a combination of outdated Soviet gear and U.S. weapons inherited from the War on Terror.

On Telegram, videos shared by the advocacy group HalVash depicted armored Humvees of American origin traveling down a road, reportedly en route to the conflict zone.

Another video displayed a sizable Soviet D-30 howitzer being transported on a U.S. Navistar 7000 transport truck.
