RFK Jr.’s rising profile sparks Democratic fears

As President Biden faces the challenge of maintaining Democratic control of the White House, there is a growing concern among Democrats about the increasing prominence of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Kennedy, known for his anti-vaccine stance, launched a primary campaign against Biden earlier this year.

Surprisingly, he has been performing better than expected in certain polls, garnering attention from the media in the process, Yahoo News reported.

This week, he has been on a press tour, participating in events like a Twitter Spaces discussion with Elon Musk and a digital town hall with journalist Michael Smerconish.

While Democrats generally view Kennedy as a problematic candidate who spreads conspiracy theories, his relatively favorable poll numbers and his image as a member of the renowned Kennedy political dynasty have raised concerns that he could gain momentum and potentially divert attention from the goal of reelecting Biden in 2024.
