Mother pushing child in stroller down Brooklyn street stabbed by stranger in blond wig

n a distressing incident, a woman who was pushing her 3-year-old daughter in a stroller along a street in Brooklyn was subjected to multiple stab wounds by an unhinged stranger wearing a blond wig.

The assailant, who posed a threat to harm the toddler, made menacing statements during the attack, as reported by the police on Wednesday, New York Daily News has reported.

According to a police source, the stranger confronted the mother and questioned her with the unsettling words, “Why are you looking at me?”

The individual then proceeded to threaten the safety of the child, stating, “I’m gonna stab your kid!”

Despite the unprovoked nature of the assault, the courageous mother managed to survive the attack and successfully protected her child from harm.

The incident took place around 3:30 p.m. on Monday near Jay and Tillary Sts. in Downtown Brooklyn, where the mother and daughter were confronted by the screaming stranger.

In an effort to apprehend the suspect, the police have shared a surveillance photo with the public and requested their assistance in identifying and locating her.

During the attack, the suspect was seen wearing a blond wig, although she was captured on surveillance cameras holding the wig in her hand.

The suspect is described as approximately 30 years old, standing at 5-foot-6, and having a dark complexion.

At the time of the incident, she was dressed in a red jacket, black pants, and white sneakers, while carrying a gray purse.
