In a peculiar statement, Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, the head of Vladimir Putin’s Russian Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops, claimed that the United States intends to employ drones to release mosquitoes infected with malaria onto Russian soldiers.
His assertion suggests that the aim behind this alleged plan is to intentionally make the soldiers ill or potentially cause fatalities.
It is worth noting that in the past, when Russia has made extravagant claims about the West or Ukraine, it often indicates their own intentions or actions, Metro reported.
Lieutenant-General Kirillov expressed concern over the Kherson region, which he believes could face complications due to potential flooding orchestrated by the Kyiv regime.
He suggested that such flooding could create conditions favorable for the spread of arbovirus infections, particularly West Nile fever, through mosquitoes.
While he did not provide further specifics regarding the alleged patent, he mentioned that the United States possesses advanced technological capabilities to employ infected vectors, as evidenced by their drone patent designed for dispersing infected mosquitoes into the air.
The details surrounding the said patent were not elaborated upon, but Lieutenant-General Kirillov mentioned that the drone’s purpose is to transport a container of insects to a designated area and release them.
