Milwaukee police announced on Thursday that they have apprehended a 15-year-old boy whom they now believe to be the sole perpetrator of a shooting incident that occurred after a Juneteenth celebration, leaving six individuals injured.

This young boy is the third person to be arrested in connection with the shooting that took place outside the Greater Philadelphia Church of God in Christ.

However, the police have not provided any details regarding the 15-year-old suspect or the reasons behind their belief that he acted alone as the gunman, the Associated Press reported.

Earlier, two males aged 17 and 19 were arrested, both of whom had sustained gunshot wounds. Initially, the police believed that one of them had discharged a firearm, but on Thursday, they clarified that this is no longer the case.

Among the victims, four were girls or women ranging in age from 14 to 18 years old. Fortunately, all six individuals injured in the shooting are expected to recover.

According to police, the investigation suggests that the incident originated from a dispute among young women outside the church, leading to the unfortunate shooting.
