According to Russian authorities on Wednesday, two drones were intercepted and brought down near the warehouses of a local military unit outside Moscow.
This incident is believed to be the latest effort by Ukraine to target Russian locations during the initial stages of their recent counteroffensive, the Associated Press reported.
Simultaneously, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Ukrainian forces were regrouping following an unsuccessful counteroffensive and may be preparing for fresh attacks on Russian positions.
Reports from Russian media indicate that the two drones crashed in the vicinity of the village of Lukino, which falls administratively under the city of Moscow.
The wreckage of a third drone was supposedly discovered approximately 20 kilometers (12 miles) away. Fortunately, no injuries or damages were reported.
