California, renowned for its unparalleled natural beauty and cultural allure, serves as a magnet for individuals worldwide who choose to establish roots and make it their home.

According to a recent statewide poll, approximately 70% of residents express contentment with living in California.

They attribute their satisfaction to the state’s diversity, abundant economic opportunities, and an appealing lifestyle that entices them to stay, the Los Angeles Times reported.

However, a significant portion of residents are contemplating leaving the state. Many harbor concerns that California is heading in an unfavorable direction, and they experience apprehension regarding the state of the economy and their financial obligations.

The results of a new survey conducted by a consortium of local nonprofit organizations, aiming to gauge the state’s overall sentiment, highlight a paradox unfolding throughout the Golden State.

While people appreciate the wealth of advantages offered by the largest state in the country, including its progressive stance on social issues, they also exhibit heightened apprehension regarding their livelihoods compared to the previous year.
