Late Monday, a tragic incident unfolded in Oklahoma as NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson’s in-laws and his 11-year-old nephew were discovered dead in their home. The police are investigating the incident as a murder-suicide.

The victims were identified as Johnson’s father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack Janway (69), and Terry Janway (68), respectively, the New York Post reported.

Tragically, their grandson, Dalton, also lost his life. Terry and Jack are the parents of Johnson’s wife, Chandra Janway, who is 44 years old. Johnson and Chandra got married in 2004 and have two daughters.

According to initial reports, it is believed that Terry Janway, Johnson’s mother-in-law, was responsible for shooting and killing her husband and their grandson before taking her own life.

The police are continuing their investigation into this heartbreaking incident.
