Authorities in Washington D.C. are actively seeking a suspect involved in a series of Molotov cocktail attacks on businesses located in Northeast D.C. during the overnight hours leading into Sunday.

The targeted establishments include a Nike store, a Safeway supermarket, and a Truist bank, all of which were struck within minutes of each other around 4:30 a.m., as stated by the Metropolitan Police.

Fortunately, since the incidents occurred when the businesses were closed, no injuries have been reported. However, damage was sustained at each location as a result of the attacks, The Messenger has reported.

In an effort to apprehend the suspect responsible, the police are requesting the public’s assistance.

They have announced a reward of $20,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the individual involved in these incidents.
