Grassley claims IRS investigators left out of briefing about Biden family’s alleged criminal scheme

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) alleged in a letter sent on Sunday that Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents were excluded from a briefing regarding an investigation into an alleged “criminal bribery scheme” involving President Joe Biden and his family.

The letter was addressed to United States Attorney for the District of Delaware, David Weiss, who led the investigation into Hunter Biden, the Washington Examiner has reported.

According to Grassley, IRS investigators were not included in a briefing that involved an FD-1023 form, which Republicans claim provides evidence that members of the Biden family received money from foreign groups in exchange for policy favors.

Grassley stated that in October 2020, senior prosecutor Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf and FBI agents from Baltimore were briefed on the form, while IRS investigators were not present.

Grassley also alleged that Wolf prevented investigators from gathering information about Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s alleged criminal business activities, based on accounts from whistleblowers.

In response to these allegations, both the House and Senate GOP have initiated investigations into the Biden administration and members of the Biden family.

Whistleblowers from the FBI and IRS have come forward, asserting that they were obstructed or misled in their attempts to conduct a thorough investigation into the alleged criminal scheme.

Last week, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) expressed hope that the committee’s ongoing investigations would reveal further “disturbing findings.”

He suggested that the Biden family may have received more than $20 million from foreign sources.
