According to Dmitry Medvedev, the current Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council and a close ally of Putin, the support provided by the “completely mad West” to Ukraine risks triggering a third world war.

He asserted that “World War III” is rapidly approaching and that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine will persist.

While Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appreciated the new security commitments from the G7 to his country, he cautioned that it cannot serve as a substitute for NATO membership, the Daily Mail reported.

Medvedev criticized the West for lacking innovative solutions and described their approach as a dead end.

He claimed that the continuation of the special military operation with the same objectives is inevitable in light of these developments.
