Early Sunday morning, a security guard was tragically beaten to death by a group of individuals outside a popular Hollywood nightclub, Dragonfly Hollywood, as per Los Angeles police.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. during a fight that broke out, leading to the confrontation with the security guard.

The attack was described as brutal, with the group causing the guard to fall to the street and then proceeding to kick and stomp him, resulting in his death, Urban Hollywood 411 has reported.

Local news stations aired footage showing paramedics attempting CPR on the victim while clubgoers looked on.

He was taken to the hospital but was pronounced deceased. The initial 911 call indicated that ten people were involved in attacking one person, and up to nine suspects were reportedly involved, according to ABC7.

As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests had been made, and the LAPD is reviewing security footage from the area.

They have urged any witnesses or individuals with recordings of the incident to come forward and contact them.
