Fear-stricken residents of a remote Peruvian village are recounting encounters with towering extraterrestrial beings, measuring 7 feet in height, whom they’ve dubbed “Los Pelacaras,” translated as “The Face Peelers.”
Hailing from the Ikitu tribe of the San Antonio native community, individuals have recounted unsettling experiences involving shadowy figures adorned in dark hoods.
These mysterious entities have purportedly targeted the villagers residing in the Alto Nanay rural district, situated to the northeast of Lima, Peru, the Daily Mail has reported.
In the aftermath of one such alarming incident, a 15-year-old girl required medical attention after narrowly escaping an encounter.
As recounted by community leader Jairo Reátegui Dávila, the struggle led to a portion of the teenager’s neck being cut.
Responding to the escalating situation, community members are now conducting nocturnal patrols aimed at safeguarding women, children, and the more vulnerable inhabitants.
Their plea for assistance has extended to local authorities, urging them to deploy military personnel to address the concerning occurrences.
Certain members of the community have revealed their inability to sleep due to overwhelming fear.
Local residents have provided descriptions of these ‘extraterrestrial’ beings, characterizing them as possessing sizable heads and yellowish eyes.
They have also attested that these enigmatic entities remain impervious to their hunting equipment.
According to accounts, the alleged attacks by these beings have persisted nightly for nearly a month, commencing on July 11.
Latina Noticias, a Peruvian news source, cited Dávila’s statement about his direct encounter with one of these self-proclaimed aliens.
He remarked, “We have come face to face, though his visage is barely discernible. I observed his entire body suspended at a height of one meter,” suggesting a hovering phenomenon.
In light of the ongoing disturbances, the community has formally requested the presence of military personnel from local authorities.
