Commenting on former President Trump’s recent mug shot following his booking in Fulton County, Georgia, President Biden weighed in on Friday, playfully remarking that his prominent political rival remains a “handsome guy.”

The occasion arose after Trump’s surrender to Georgia authorities on Thursday evening, facing 13 charges linked to his efforts to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.

Notably, this event marked the first instance in history where a former president was subjected to a mug shot, The Hill has reported.

Responding to inquiries about the mug shot, Biden shared with journalists, “I did see it on television. Handsome guy.”

Trump, reflecting on the situation, told Fox Digital that he acquiesced to the demand for a mug shot, emphasizing that this was his inaugural experience with such an occurrence.

“This is the only time I’ve ever taken a mug shot,” he expressed.
