Pennsylvania law enforcement authorities revealed on Sunday that Danelo Cavalcante, an escaped murderer, has undergone a change in appearance and has acquired a vehicle since his escape from a state prison 11 days ago.

Pennsylvania State Police provided details that Cavalcante, aged 34, is currently clean-shaven and was observed wearing a yellow or green hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball cap, green prison pants, and white shoes.

He was captured on home surveillance cameras in the vicinity of Phoenixville late Saturday, the Washington Times reported.

It was further disclosed that the fugitive is operating a white 2020 Ford Transit van registered in Pennsylvania under the license plate ZST8818, which features a refrigeration unit on top.

Philadelphia ABC affiliate WPVI-TV reported that Baily’s Dairy reported the vehicle as stolen.

This sighting near Phoenixville is approximately 20 miles north of the area close to Longwood Gardens, where Cavalcante had been spotted twice on the preceding Friday.

WPVI reported that Cavalcante has connections to Phoenixville, and the victim he was convicted of murdering, his former girlfriend Deborah Brandao, had family ties in the same vicinity.

Cavalcante was convicted by a jury of fatally stabbing Brandao in 2021, in the presence of her two young children.

Prosecutors contended that he committed this gruesome act after Brandao discovered his involvement in unrelated homicide charges in his native Brazil and had intentions to report him to the authorities.
