In the early hours of Sunday, Russia initiated an attack on Kyiv, unleashing nearly thirty drones, which resulted in a series of explosions reverberating across the Ukrainian capital and its environs for approximately two hours.

Debris from the drones was scattered across multiple districts within the city, as reported by Ukrainian authorities.

The night sky was ablaze with flashes stemming from the engagement of aerial threats by air defense systems, and the sound of explosions resonated throughout the city.

In one instance, a plume of smoke was observed rising amidst the urban landscape, Reuters reported.

A resident of Kyiv, Liudmyla, recounted hearing the distinctive buzzing of the Iranian-made drones shortly before a shockwave shattered the windows of her residence and caused items on her windowsill to topple.

She described the ordeal as profoundly frightening, beyond adequate description.

According to the state emergency service, fragments from the incident landed in three distinct districts, though no significant structural damage was reported.

Kyiv officials also disclosed that four individuals sustained injuries during the attack.
