Morning Consult Poll: Donald Trump and Joe Biden Tied Nationally

According to Tuesday’s Morning Consult survey, former President Donald Trump is now neck-and-neck with President Joe Biden in national popularity.

After trailing Biden for several weeks in this specific poll, Trump has caught up, with both candidates receiving 42 percent of the respondents’ support.

Eleven percent express support for “someone else,” and five percent remain undecided about their preference. It’s worth noting that this part of the survey carries a margin of error of ± one percent.

For a broader perspective, the survey also shows Biden leading Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) by four points, with 43 percent backing Biden compared to DeSantis’s 39 percent, Breitbart News reported.

In this scenario, 12 percent of respondents are undecided, and seven percent do not have a clear preference.

The survey delves into the Republican primary race as well, revealing Trump’s strong lead, consistent with previous weeks’ results.

Trump currently commands 46 percent of Republican support, far ahead of his closest rival, Governor Ron DeSantis, who receives 13 percent.

Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy is a close third with ten percent support, followed by former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (six percent) and former Vice President Mike Pence (five percent). Other candidates receive two percent support or less.
