Optimus, conceived by Tesla’s owner and billionaire Elon Musk, is anticipated to become available for purchase around 2027 at a price that has yet to be determined, likely to be substantial.

Musk has made ambitious claims about ending poverty through the introduction of Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, the Daily Sun has reported.

The unconventional billionaire envisions the robot as a means to lead humanity into “future of abundance, a future where there is no poverty, a future where you can have whatever you want in terms of products and services.”

Musk initiated the project with the goal of creating a humanoid robot as swiftly as possible, unveiling it in August 2021.
