A video from October 2019 shows Hunter Biden vehemently denying any financial involvement with his family’s deal with Jonathan Li, an associate of BHR Partners.
In the summer of 2019, Hunter Biden received two wire transfers totaling $260,000 from BHR Partners associates, including Li, with President Joe Biden’s Delaware home listed as the beneficiary address for the funds, as revealed by the House Oversight Committee this week.
These funds are connected to the Bank of China. Despite receiving these bank wires in 2019, Hunter Biden stated to ABC News months later that he had not received a single cent from Li, Breitbart News reported.
According to Hunter Biden’s collapsed plea deal in July with now-special counsel David Weiss, it specifies that Hunter Biden’s residence was in California when his Chinese partners sent money to an account linked to Joe Biden’s address.
The plea deal, found on page 9, states that Hunter Biden “remained in California and spent much of the summer of 2019 painting and developing plans for his memoir.”
In his memoir, “Beautiful Things,” the president’s son also acknowledges that he resided in California at the time when his Chinese partners wired the money to Delaware.
The funds transferred from Beijing, China, directly challenge President Joe Biden’s incorrect assertion that Hunter Biden did not earn money from China.
BHR Partners, the investment fund that Hunter Biden co-established through a collaborative effort with Devon Archer and Li, retains investments with a total value in the billions of dollars.
In an exclusive report from Breitbart News in April, it was revealed that Kevin Morris, Hunter Biden’s attorney and close associate, oversees Hunter Biden’s share in this enterprise.
Similarly, Archer’s wife exercises control over his share in BHR Partners.
