On Sunday morning, an Israeli citizen was apprehended in the vicinity of Jerusalem’s Old City when he attempted to transport a sheep to the Temple Mount with the intention of making a sacrifice.
The individual in question is a devout advocate affiliated with the Chozrim L’Har movement, a group committed to opposing the “abandonment of the Temple Mount into foreign hands.”
After law enforcement authorities located the man en route to the Temple Mount, they took him into custody, the Jerusalem Post reported.
Following his arrest, the Chozrim L’Har movement issued a warning, asserting that “there is no more room for Muslim rule on the Temple Mount.”
The organization pledged that sacrificial practices would soon recommence, and they expressed their determination to construct the Third Temple on the Temple Mount.
“It is time to build a third Jewish Temple and renew sacrifices,” the religious organization said. “Dear government and Arabs, you are messing with the wrong generation,” it further warned.
