
The police are actively pursuing a suspect in connection with the murder of a man who suffered multiple stab wounds near a bus stop in New York City early Monday morning, an incident described as “unthinkable.”
The tragic event unfolded in Brooklyn, just before 4 a.m., as per law enforcement officials.
The victim, Ryan Carson, 32, a prominent advocate for social justice, lost his life after being stabbed in the chest, according to the police, ABC News reported.
Reports from ABC New York station WABC indicated that Carson and his girlfriend were returning home from a wedding when the attack, which appeared to be unprovoked, took place.
On Tuesday, the NYPD released a photograph of an unidentified male suspect who is the subject of their search in connection with the homicide.
As of Tuesday night, no arrests have been made, confirmed a police spokesperson.
