In West Palm Beach, Florida, former President Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden’s competence in the midst of the ongoing conflict in Israel.

Trump asserted that Biden’s policies had left the nation vulnerable, allowing the recent Hamas attack on Israel to transpire.

He drew comparisons between his own foreign policy achievements and Biden’s approach, with a particular focus on their differing stances regarding Iran, the Washington Examiner reported.

“Under my leadership, Iran was weak and broke and desperate for love; they wanted love, they were weak, and they were broke!” Trump said. “And now they’re rich as hell. They’ve got hundreds of billions of dollars, and you have a whole new country, and they’re probably 90 days away from having a nuclear weapon. And we have a man who is grossly incompetent, who can’t put two sentences together, and he’s the one that’s leading our nations in talks. In fact, until just a little while ago, he was getting absolutely decimated — he never even mentioned the word Iran in any of his talks, didn’t want to talk about it.”

Trump proceeded to highlight the distinctions in his approach to handling hostage situations as opposed to Biden’s, strongly criticizing the decision to release $6 billion of Iranian funds in exchange for American hostages being detained in Iran.
