A new branch of Botbar, the automated coffee shop featuring robot baristas, has recently launched in Manhattan, New York, situated within a Sanmiwago Taiwanese dumpling shop at 1695 Broadway, close to West 53rd Street.

Notably, Botbar Coffee initially debuted in Greenpoint in May 2023, introducing a two-armed robot barista named Adam that, despite its automation, still requires some level of human oversight.

It’s worth mentioning that the proprietor of the original Greenpoint establishment, Sunny Lam, asserts no involvement in the expansion to Midtown, Eater New York reported.

Nevertheless, the new location employs the same Richtech Robotics-branded robot. For additional details, Eater has reached out to Botbar for clarification.
