A clandestine meeting to delve into discussions about UFOs is set to occur in the core of the US government next week, prompting inquiries into what information intelligence officials might be withholding from the public.

Scheduled for Friday, January 12, members of the House Oversight Committee will undergo a classified briefing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), the updated term for UFOs, within the confines of the Office of House Security.

The heightened interest in UAP at the government level emerged last year following revelations from former intelligence officer David Grusch, who blew the whistle, asserting that the government possessed “evidence of intact and partially intact alien vehicles.”

This revelation triggered a comprehensive congressional hearing on the subject, during which Mr. Grusch and two other witnesses provided sworn testimony detailing their encounters with UAP, Metro reported.
