An early morning shooting in a residential area of Denver on Sunday resulted in the tragic deaths of two individuals, a man and a boy, according to police spokesperson Sean Towle.
Additionally, four other people sustained injuries, although the nature of their injuries was not specified.
“We don’t believe it’s random at this time,” Towle said. “No arrests at this point, and we’re working to develop suspect information.”
The incident took place in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood, with preliminary information shared by the police via a social media post around 2:30 a.m.
The victims’ fatalities were confirmed approximately six hours later, ABC News reported.
Denver medical examiner Sean Towle mentioned that the names and causes of death will be disclosed at a later time.
According to KCNC-TV, four of the victims were transported to a hospital via ambulance, while the remaining two individuals sought medical attention independently.
