Iran conducted war drills on Tuesday, testing advanced ballistic missiles as part of its preparation for potential strikes on Israeli military sites housing American-made F-35 fighter jets, as reported by state-controlled media.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), responsible for recent attacks in the Middle East, simulated the destruction of hangars housing Israeli F-35s using enhanced versions of Emad and Qadr ballistic missiles.
The mock scenario took place at a simulated Tel Aviv regime’s Palmachim Airbase near the major Israeli city, claiming capability to strike deep into Israel with missiles traveling over 1,000 miles, the Washington Free Beacon reported.
These drills occurred amid increased deadly operations by Iranian proxies in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon against U.S. and Israeli forces, including a late January Houthi strike that killed three American military members, prompting retaliatory attacks by the U.S.
