A masked group of men opened fire at an outdoor gathering in central California, resulting in four fatalities and three injuries on Sunday evening, as reported by the King City Police Department.
Around 6 p.m., officers responded to a shooting incident in King City, discovering three deceased men with gunshot wounds in a front yard.
Additionally, four individuals, including a woman, sustained gunshot injuries.
Unfortunately, the woman succumbed to her injuries after being transported to Mee Memorial Hospital in King City, located approximately 106 miles south of San Jose.
The three injured men were taken to Natividad Hospital in Salinas, according to police statements.
The incident occurred during a gathering outside a residence where several people were present, CBS News reported.
Three men, dressed in dark clothing with dark masks covering their heads, disembarked from a silver Kia and fired upon the group.
Subsequently, the unidentified suspects fled the scene in the vehicle. Law enforcement has issued a warning, stating, “The suspects are considered armed and dangerous. If you see them or the vehicle, call 911. Do not try to contact them.”
The investigation remains ongoing, as per police updates.
