Abercrombie & Fitch forecasts upbeat revenue growth on strong apparel demand

On Wednesday, Abercrombie & Fitch Co projected full-year revenue growth surpassing Wall Street expectations.

The company is banking on robust full-price demand for its apparel brands, fueled by a successful holiday shopping season and a strong beginning to spring in the United States.

Efforts by apparel retailers like Abercrombie and Lululemon Athletica to streamline inventories and introduce fresh styles during the holiday season have proven advantageous, Reuters reported.

Abercrombie specifically highlighted its increased focus on marketing and investments in both digital and in-store experiences during the reported quarter, strategies it plans to maintain throughout the rest of the year.

In a similar vein, big-box retailer Target also announced on Tuesday its commitment to enhancing consumer experiences as a key strategy to keep shoppers engaged amid a challenging spending environment.
