Nvidia has undertaken initiatives to actualize AI-driven robots. The chip manufacturer revealed on Monday its Project GROOT Foundation AI model, designed to enhance the capabilities of humanoid robots.
Additionally, Nvidia introduced Thor, a system-on-a-chip specifically crafted for robot applications.
“The enabling technologies are coming together for leading roboticists around the world to take giant leaps towards artificial general robotics,” CEO Jensen Huang said, Barron’s reported.
Robots powered by GROOT will be engineered to comprehend human language and replicate human movements through observational learning.
