Rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ homes raided by Homeland Security

According to a source familiar with the situation who spoke with NBC News on Monday, Sean “Diddy” Combs is under investigation by federal authorities amidst a series of lawsuits filed against the renowned rap music mogul since November.

Federal officials in Manhattan have interviewed three women and one man regarding allegations involving sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illicit drugs and firearms, as per the source.

Additionally, interviews with three other individuals are reportedly scheduled.

Four law enforcement sources informed NBC News that agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) conducted search warrants on Monday at properties owned by Combs in Los Angeles and Miami, NBC News reported.

These sources indicated that the warrants were issued by the Southern District of New York. HSI later confirmed in a statement that it had undertaken law enforcement actions in New York as part of an ongoing investigation, in coordination with teams in Los Angeles and Miami.

Prior to his scheduled departure for a trip to the Bahamas, Homeland Security officials seized phones belonging to Combs in Miami, as reported by three law enforcement sources familiar with the warrant.

Combs was reportedly in the Miami area at the time when authorities conducted the searches. Whether Combs proceeded with his planned trip remains unclear.

As of Monday, representatives for the 54-year-old Combs had not yet responded to NBC News’ request for comment.
