RFK Jr. expected to announce Nicole Shanahan as running mate

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the independent presidential candidate, is poised to reveal attorney and entrepreneur Nicole Shanahan as his running mate on Tuesday, as reported by The New York Times, citing sources close to the campaign.

This announcement signifies a pivotal moment for Kennedy’s presidential aspirations, potentially accelerating his efforts to secure ballot access in all 50 states.

The selection of his vice presidential candidate, to be unveiled at an event in Oakland, California, carries the additional responsibility of broadening Kennedy’s appeal and aiding in fundraising for his well-funded campaign.

Earlier this month, Kennedy disclosed to CNN that he had already made a decision regarding his running mate, CNN reported.

Alongside Shanahan, other individuals under consideration for the role included former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers, former Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard, Republican Senator Rand Paul, former Democratic presidential contender Andrew Yang, former television host Mike Rowe, motivational speaker Tony Robbins, and civil rights attorney Tricia Lindsay.
