Muslim protestors chant ‘death to America, death to Israel’ at rally in Michigan

Muslim demonstrators in a Michigan city labeled the ‘jihad capital’ of the US by the Wall Street Journal, raised chants of ‘death to America’ and ‘death to Israel’ during a rally.

The gathering, held in solidarity with Palestine and in opposition to Israel, coincided with Al-Quds Day.

The protest occurred shortly after the deaths of seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen in Gaza due to an Israeli airstrike, sparking condemnation worldwide.

A video posted by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) depicts Tarek Bazzi, a community activist, speaking at a podium amidst chants of ‘death to America!’ echoing in the background.

For over two decades, demonstrations observing Al-Quds Day, which aligns with the final Friday of Ramadan, have taken place in Dearborn, the Daily Mail has reported.

However, earlier this year, the city garnered attention when Steven Stalinsky, the Executive Director of MEMRI, referred to it as ‘America’s jihad capital’ in a widely discussed opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal.
