Iran launched a massive attack on Israel with around 300 drones and missiles, marking the first direct assault by Iran on Israel.

Israeli defenses intercepted the majority of the projectiles, with only minor damage reported.

The attack triggered air raid sirens across Israel, but casualties were limited to one young girl wounded by shrapnel.

The Israeli Air Force, supported by allies, successfully countered the threat, with all drones and cruise missiles intercepted outside Israeli airspace, the Times of Israel has reported.

The UK also pledged to intercept any airborne attacks within its mission range.

Additionally, US forces shot down Iranian drones in southern Syria, and Jordanian jets intercepted drones flying towards Israel, demonstrating regional solidarity against Iranian aggression.
