A coalition led by the US and UK swiftly responded to Iranian drone and missile threats targeting Israel in multiple Middle Eastern countries.

Israel, supported by its allies, intercepted most of the incoming drones and missiles. US President Joe Biden confirmed US military support and praised the successful defense efforts.

The UK also contributed Royal Air Force jets to intercept threats in the region, The Guardian reported.

Jordan reportedly downed Iranian drones heading towards Israel, though the government didn’t confirm its role.

The Biden administration is focused on preventing further escalation and coordinating defense efforts with Israel to avoid a wider conflict.
