Iran president warns of ‘massive’ response if Israel launches ‘tiniest invasion’

Iran’s President Raisi issued a stern warning to Israel, cautioning against even the slightest invasion, promising a significant retaliation.

The warning came amidst escalating tensions following Iran’s recent attack on Israel, triggered by an Israeli strike on Iran’s embassy compound in Syria.

Iran’s military parade, typically held in Tehran’s southern outskirts, was relocated without explanation.

Iran’s retaliatory strike involved hundreds of missiles and drones, largely intercepted by Israel with assistance from the US, UK, Jordan, and others, the Associated Press has reported.

Tensions have been high since the latest Israel-Hamas conflict in October, initiated by cross-border attacks by Hamas and Islamic Jihad, both backed by Iran.

The conflict has resulted in significant casualties and widespread devastation in Gaza.
