Dashcam footage captured a dramatic rescue as Good Samaritans sprang into action to save a trapped man from a burning car in St. Paul.
The incident occurred on Thursday evening along I-94 near Snelling Avenue.
The video shows the rescuers working swiftly amidst a rapidly spreading fire, ultimately freeing the driver from the wrecked Honda before the flames consumed the vehicle.
Shared widely on social media and garnering international attention, the footage highlights the bravery and quick thinking of those involved, Bring Me The News has reported.
Despite facing intense heat and obstacles, including a blocked car door, the rescuers managed to extract the driver with the help of a MnDOT worker who smashed the driver’s window.
Fortunately, the driver escaped without serious injuries after the car ran off the road and collided with a light pole, igniting into flames.
