Hamas released a video purportedly showing Israeli hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin on their Telegram channel, although The Jerusalem Post couldn’t verify its date or authenticity.
Hamas often uses such videos to pressure Israel and engage in psychological warfare.
In the video, Goldberg-Polin recounts being seized during an attack on the Nova Music Festival, contradicting Hamas’s claims of avoiding civilian targets.
He suffered serious injuries, including the loss of his left hand, during the assault. His parents shared harrowing details of the incident, the Jerusalem Post has reported.
Goldberg-Polin’s mother, Rachel Goldberg, is actively advocating for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas. The family declined interviews but plans to issue a statement later.
