The Israeli military conducted targeted strikes on Hamas terror targets in Eastern Rafah, as confirmed by the IDF Spokesperson.

The War Cabinet approved the continuation of Israel’s Rafah operation to pressure Hamas for the release of hostages and other war goals, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Despite Hamas’s agreement to a ceasefire proposal from Qatar and Egypt, Israel plans to send mediators to explore an agreement that meets its requirements, Jerusalem Post has reported.

A former Israeli security source dismissed Hamas’s reported ceasefire deal as nonexistent, suggesting it was a ploy to avoid Israeli ground intervention.
