Man goes to shoot pastor point-blank; ‘God jams his gun’

A startling incident occurred when a man, claiming to be “dealing with spirits,” entered Jesus’ Dwelling Place in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, and attempted to shoot Pastor Glenn Germany at close range.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect pointing a gun at the pastor, but miraculously, the weapon jammed, preventing any shots from being fired.

Quick action by the church deacon thwarted the assailant’s further attempts. Pastor Germany, grateful for divine intervention, recounted the terrifying ordeal, revealing the suspect’s claims of hearing voices.

Deacon Clarence McCallister, hailed as a hero, acted instinctively to prevent a potential tragedy. Despite the trauma, Pastor Germany remained strong for his daughter, who witnessed the event.

The suspect, Bernard Polite, now faces serious charges, including attempted homicide, the Daily Express has reported.

Additionally, police discovered the body of Derek Polite, 56, at Bernard’s residence, although their relationship remains unclear.
