In Savannah, Georgia, a shooting incident in the downtown area left 11 people injured. The gunfire erupted shortly before midnight in Ellis Square, a renowned spot in Savannah’s historic district.
Multiple police precincts responded to reports of the incident, and investigations were ongoing. Authorities have yet to identify suspects or make any arrests.
All those injured, including gunshot victims, were adults, with some taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment.
While details about the injuries were not disclosed, police confirmed that no fatalities occurred, CBS News reported.
According to local reports, the injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, and all 11 individuals received medical attention overnight.
