‘General Hospital’ actor shot and killed after theft gone wrong in downtown LA

Johnny Wactor, known for his role as Brando Corbin on “General Hospital,” has died at 37. Wactor was shot and killed early Saturday morning in downtown Los Angeles.

According to his mother, Scarlett, Johnny and a coworker encountered three men tampering with his car.

Despite not resisting, Wactor was shot by the men, who then fled.

Paramedics arrived shortly after 3 AM, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police have not released a description of the suspects, TMZ has reported.

Wactor’s acting career began in 2007, with notable roles in “Army Wives,” “Westworld,” “The OA,” “NCIS,” “Station 19,” and “Criminal Minds.”

He is survived by his mother and younger brothers, Lance and Grant.
