Prosecutors in Hunter Biden Trial Rest Case

The prosecution has concluded its case in Hunter Biden’s federal gun charges trial, after presenting testimony from a drug expert and an FBI chemist.

The jury has been dismissed until Monday. Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, faces three felony charges: lying to a gun dealer, falsely claiming he was not a drug user, and illegally possessing a gun for 11 days. He has pleaded not guilty.

With no more defense witnesses available on Friday, the judge dismissed the jury for the weekend, the Associated Press reported.

Hunter Biden’s attorney, Lowell, indicated that at least one more witness might be called on Monday but did not specify who it would be or if Hunter Biden would testify.
