Dr. Michael Mosley, a beloved TV doctor, tragically passed away on the Greek island of Symi.

After saying goodbye to his wife, Clare Bailey, on a beach, he took a fatal wrong turn while trekking back to their holiday accommodation.

Dr. Mosley left without his phone and carried only an umbrella, watch, rucksack, bottle of water, and wallet.

His body was discovered behind a coastal bar after a five-day search involving helicopters, divers, dogs, and drones, The Sun reported.

Clare Bailey confirmed his death in a heartbreaking statement, detailing the circumstances of his disappearance and subsequent discovery.
