Kate Middleton made her first public appearance of the year at Trooping the Colour, riding in a carriage with her children and joining the royals on Buckingham Palace’s balcony.

Absent from public life since Christmas due to abdominal surgery and ongoing cancer treatment, she emphasized her recovery is still in progress and not a full return to public duties.

Despite missing final rehearsals, she updated her recovery status and expressed the need for patience.

King Charles III expressed his delight at her attendance amid both of their cancer battles, Metro has reported.

This marks her first Trooping the Colour since 2019, following cancellations in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
