3 killed, 10 hurt in mass shooting at Arkansas grocery store

A mass shooting at the Mad Butcher grocery store in Fordyce, Arkansas, on Friday resulted in three deaths and ten injuries.

The suspect, Travis Eugene Posey, 44, was shot by law enforcement and is facing capital murder charges.

The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m., about 70 miles south of Little Rock.

Among the injured are eight civilians, some in critical condition, and two law enforcement officers with non-life-threatening injuries.

Posey is being held at the Ouachita County Detention Center, and additional charges are expected, ABC News has reported.

Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been briefed, and the FBI is assisting local authorities.
