5 people killed, 1 teen critically wounded, in North Las Vegas shooting

A man suspected of a shooting that killed five people and critically wounded a teenage girl in North Las Vegas killed himself after officers located him on Tuesday morning, police said.

Officers responded to an apartment around 10 p.m. Monday and found two women, later pronounced dead, who were in their early 40s and late 50s.

A 13-year-old girl was also found wounded and is in critical condition at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NBC News reported.

Nearby, officials discovered two women in their mid-20s and a man in his early 20s, all of whom were declared dead at the scene.

The victims’ identities will be provided by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Police identified 47-year-old Eric Adams as the suspect in the deaths.
