Russian missiles hit children’s hospital in Kyiv as Zelenskyy vows retaliation

A massive Russian missile attack across Ukraine on Monday resulted in at least 31 deaths and over 150 injuries, according to officials.

One missile hit a children’s hospital in Kyiv, leaving casualties trapped under the rubble. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has vowed to hold Russia accountable for what he calls acts of terror ordered by Putin.

Zelenskyy detailed that more than 40 types of missiles struck Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Slovyansk, and Kramatorsk, damaging apartment buildings and infrastructure.

He emphasized the importance of the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital, describing it as a crucial facility in Europe.

Zelenskyy criticized Russia’s response to peace discussions, stating that it always retaliates with attacks on homes and hospitals, Fox News has reported.

He called for international support and collective action to force Russia into peace.

In Kryvyi Rih, Zelenskyy’s birthplace, a massive missile attack killed 10 people and injured 47, while in Kyiv, seven people were killed and 16 injured, including seven children, at the children’s hospital.
